Deja The Lactation Pro Policies

1. Services & Scope of Practice Deja The Lactation Pro provides lactation education, breastfeeding support, and guidance for infant feeding concerns. Services may be offered virtually or in-home, depending on the package selected. Lactation services are educational and supportive in nature and are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider for medical concerns.

2. Scheduling & Appointments All appointments must be scheduled through the online booking system. Appointment availability is shown in real time. Once booked, clients will receive a confirmation email with appointment details and any required intake forms. Forms must be completed before the appointment to avoid delays or rescheduling.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee. No-shows may result in full loss of payment and may require prepayment for future services. These policies help ensure availability for other families in need of support.

4. Payments & Insurance Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Some services may be eligible for insurance reimbursement through third-party providers. It is the client’s responsibility to verify insurance benefits and coverage. Deja The Lactation Pro does not guarantee reimbursement.

5. In-Home Visits For in-home consultations: A safe, smoke-free environment is required. Pets should be secured during the visit. Travel fees may apply depending on location.

If the environment is deemed unsafe, the visit may be ended and considered a completed appointment.

6. Communication Communication outside of scheduled appointments (via text, email, or portal messaging) is intended for brief follow-up questions only. Ongoing or complex concerns may require booking an additional consultation.

7. Privacy & Confidentiality Your privacy matters. All personal and health-related information shared is kept confidential and used only for providing services, documentation, and billing purposes. Information will not be shared without consent, except as required by law.

8. Results Disclaimer Every breastfeeding journey is unique. While evidence-based guidance and compassionate support are provided, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
